The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau operates Internet Time Server to enable synchronization of computers clocks with the local standard time.  Users can access the time service through the Internet Time Server of SMG at  The server supports NTP and SNTP internet protocols. To make use of the time service, a synchronization software has to be installed on your computer. A list of popular synchronization software can be found at

Please refer to the installation instructions accompanying the software.  To synchronize your computer with the Macao Standard Time, simply designate the SMG Internet Time Server - as the network time server in your software.


Note: After synchronizing your computer clock, you need to refresh the page to indicate the time after synchronization.
