It is a wooden cupboard that structured
to protect the instruments from radiation and weather effects, while at the same time,
ensuring to have sufficient ventilation. The meteorological instruments inside include
thermometers, hygrometer, maximum and minimum thermometers, etc. Indirect ventilation
is provided through the bottom, double roof and louvered sides. The cupboard itself,
including the rack is coated with white paint to reflect the radiation heat that comes
from the sun, the ground and the buildings. With the door faces north (In Northern Hemisphere)
to avoid direct sunlight, thus the recorded temperature readings are representable.
