A low depression was intensified into a tropical storm in the west Pacific in the morning of 1st Nov. It was named Bebinca(0021). Bebinca further upgraded into a severe tropical storm in the early morning of 2nd Nov. It located in the east of Philippines (12.8N, 126.2 E), moved northwestward under the speed of 19 km/h. After it went across Philippines, it entered the area which is 800 km around Macao, China. In the afternoon of 4th Nov., Bebinca was 750 km south-southeast of Macao (16.3 N, 117.2 E), the central pressure was about 975 hPa. It moved northward steadily later on. Since there is a strong anticyclone moving downward from the north China, Bebinca maintained its position (20.2 N, 116.8 E) and was 400 km east-southeast of Macao, then weakened into a tropical storm. Before daybreak of 7th Nov., it further downgraded into a tropical depression and started moving westward under the speed of 10 km/h. In the early morning of 8th Nov., it passed by south of Macau in the South China Sea which is about 120 kms away from us, it landed in western coastal area of Guangdong finally.
