Illustration of Storm Surge Warning Levels

Considering meteorological characteristics as well as the geographical location and practical situation of Macao, following warning levels had been developed:

First Level Warning / Yellow The water level is expected to be below 0.5 meter above road level.

Second Level Warning / Red The water level is expected to be 0.5 to 1 meter from road level.

Third Level Warning / Black The water level is expected to be above 1 meter from road level.

Fore-mentioned data refers to those received from above Inner Harbour Road Level.

Different levels of Storm Surge Warning are being issued so as to advise all residents taking appropriate precautions promptly.
