Airport Meteorological Office (AMO) located in the Macau International Airport provides 24 hours meteorological service to the airport. The service includes half-hourly routine aviation weather reports (METAR), selected special weather reports (SPECI) and 6 hourly aerodrome forecast (TAF) as well as flight documentation for every departure flight. The Centre issues strong wind warning and thunderstorm warning to ensure the safety of the airport facilities, airplanes and crews.
